Pussycat Dolls' Post-Super Bowl Plans Include Kim Kardashian

One day after the new Pussycat Dolls lineup debuted during a Go Daddy Super Bowl commercial, the Dolls are already working on their next small-screen project — and this time, it includes reality-TV queen Kim Kardashian.

PCD creator Robin Antin stopped by the MTV Newsroom late last month, and she had some fun teases about what fans should expect from their in-the-works, forthcoming show. "We're developing a reality show with Kim Kardashian as an executive producer and Nigel Lythgoe," Antin said of Kim K. and the "American Idol" producer and "So You Think You Can Dance" judge. "He wanted to get into reality TV and was very interested in doing something with me. Obviously, with the Pussycat Dolls, he's always been a big fan." Antin appears on "So You Think You Can Dance" from time to time, and as for Kim, she performed as a Doll back in 2008. Also, Antin said, Kardashian "understands reality more than anyone I know." "Kim is one of my best friends and has been for many, many years and so supportive and said, 'I'd love to be a part of really showing your world, the empire of really what you have built and the world around you ... and all the girls that revolve around that.' " With a new Doll lineup (which includes Chrystina Sayers from Girlicious, "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant Paula Van Oppen, Paradiso Girl and "Party Rock Anthem" collaborator Lauren Bennett, former Laker Girl Vanessa Curry and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Erica Jenkins), Antin thinks now is as good a time as any to put their ups and downs on tape. "The engine of all Pussycat Dolls [projects] is the recording ground, and now having the new recording group, it made sense to focus on the launch of this new group and how that engine opens up all the doors for all the different things that I'm doing that are a part of the brand," she said. "So it's a really fun, interesting, wacky world inside what I do." However, Antin noted, the show won't be about catfights or exploiting the lows that come with the highs. "It's not about showing all the drama and all the girls fighting," she said. "I'm not interested in that — although the reality is, there are things that happen and we're OK with showing the reality. We focus so much and want to inspire people to show that girls can work together and act like sisters and get along. And through dancing and singing, I want to inspire everyone. Could Madonna Win The Super Bowl?

With so many people wondering if the New York Giants or the New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl on Sunday, there's one team that could perhaps upset the whole game. That team? Well, it's Team Madonna — and it's a fierce, road-tested force that has proven it can stand the test of time.

When the Pussycat Dolls stopped by the MTV News offices recently to chat about their Go Daddy ad airing during the big game, they noted that the only team they want to see win is Team Pop led by MVP Madonna, who will certainly dazzle everyone when she takes the stage during the halftime show. "I definitely say Madonna," PCD creator Robin Antin said, with new Doll and U.K. native Lauren Bennett adding, "Madonna all the way! I can't understand football. It just looks like they're running into each other! Sorry guys, but it is a guy's thing, I think, and leave it to them. That's their time. I'm like, 'Enjoy it.' "

While that spirit may seem stoutly un-American, Antin joked, "She's a Brit! We'll be watching for the commercial ... and Madonna. It's exciting. Well, hopefully the Pussycat Dolls will be on the next Super Bowl performing, you know?" Does Bennett think that it could happen one day? "[You have] high hopes," she said with a chuckle. Well, until the PCD get upgraded to halftime-performer status, they should take notes from Madge, who may be taking the stage with any number of folks, including her "Give Me All Your Luvin' " pals, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., as well as Cee Lo Green and LMFAO. The Pussycat Dolls have remained pretty much under the radar since some well-publicized lineup shifts back in 2009. With a new group of ladies all ready for their chance to shake it as a PCD, they are set to make their world debut Sunday during one of the biggest shows of the year: the Super Bowl. Recently, PCD creator Robin Antin and a newly instated Doll, Lauren Bennett, stopped by the MTV Newsroom to chat about the Go Daddy commercial that will launch the latest phase of all things PCD. So, what should fans expect?

In the spot, Antin said, "The girls are on the Go Daddy cloud. They're angels in heaven, and they're very angelic." The look of the commercial is not necessarily the new look of the group this time around, she said, adding, "It's breathtakingly beautiful. It's a fun, real-campy kind of sexy. It's all of that, but again, what we're doing for this next life of the Pussycat Dolls, the girls are all young. It's a fresh, young energy. I want to appeal to our young fans." Despite a lineup leak in early 2010, the new, official lineup now stands as Bennett (who you might remember from Antin's other group, Paradiso Girls, as well as the LMFAO track "Party Rock Anthem") along with Chrystina Sayers from Girlicious. More will be revealed Sunday in the shorter on-air version of the commercial, as well as the extended version that will go online after the spot debuts. "The dancing is spectacular. Everyone is amazing," Antin said. "It's the exact right recipe for the new Pussycat Dolls. We just did the Go Daddy commercial, Super Bowl spot — really excited about it. It's sexy and all that. Nicole Scherzinger Releases Solo Single 'Poison,' Prepping Album

Nicole Scherzinger will not be held back. The Pussycat Dolls singer is rebounding from the 2007-2008 failure to launch of her perpetually delayed solo debut, Her Name Is Nicole, by wrapping up work on a new breakaway effort. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the as-yet-untitled disc was produced by Lady Gaga compatriot RedOne and features collaborations with Jay Sean and Ne-Yo. She's already debuted the slinky Joseph Kahn-directed video for the first single, the Euro-trancey "Poison," in which she sports a skintight ninja outfit as she dance-fights with baddies. After winning "Dancing With the Stars" in the spring, Scherzinger promised to get a Pussycat Dolls album, with the group's new lineup, out by the end of the year, but it now seems like her solo disc will drop first. That's not the only thing Scherzinger has in the works, either. When asked how her new album might impact her rumored role as a judge on Simon Cowell's "The X-Factor," Scherzinger told the Reporter, "I don't know about X-Factor ... I'm working on my album right now ... I'm excited about touring and stuff. If Simon [Cowell] asked me, I'd have to sit down and really think about it, because it would be a really big commitment." Scherzinger has already guest-judged on the British version of Cowell's singing show, but the cast for the American version, due next fall, has not yet been announced. While she may be sitting out Cowell's show, Scherzinger is also reportedly up for a cameo role in the upcoming "Men in Black 3" movie. Working alongside Betty White, she said she'll have a "small villain role ... I say a couple of lines and then I die."

Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin has at last revealed who will be joining Nicole Scherzinger in the group after the departure of three members early this year. On Saturday, Antin tweeted a photo of the new group. The four new members are Kherington Payne from "So You Think You Can Dance"; former Lakers Girl Vanessa Curry; Rino Nakasone-Razalan, a former Harajuku Girl and member of "America's Best Dance Crew" runners-up Beat Freaks, and former Girlicious member Jamie Lee Ruiz. Antin tweeted that the photo was taken after the Dolls performed at a private party. In January, Jessica Sutta left the Dolls to pursue a solo career, and Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts announced their departure in March. Both Antin and Scherzinger asserted that the other singers' departure group didn't mean the group was over. "PCD IS FAR FROM OVER! In fact round 3 is just beginning! STAY TUNED if u BELIEVE in PCD! Love you!" Antin tweeted. "Ooohh love you all! Keep sending me ur tweets, positive or not, it just shows u care! I knw there's a Doll inside all of you! I wanna hear!" The new members have also been posting their own Twitter messages about joining the group. "Thank you Everyone for the love and support!" Payne wrote. "It means the world to me/us! Love you all :) xoxo." Curry shared similar sentiments. "Thank you everyone for the supportive tweets!! The Pussycat dolls are ready to bring it hard for you guys!! muah :)" she wrote. In March, as Scherzinger was prepping for her turn on "Dancing With the Stars," she sat down with MTV News to discuss the group's new lineup. "[The change is] kind of inevitable, right? When it comes to girl groups, I think we did the best that we could for a good chunk of time," she explained. "We had an amazing time, and then people change and people grow, and sometimes things aren't right for them. We're all artists — just go and be creative. I love the PCD. It's been a blessing for me. 'Dancing With The Stars': Nicole Scherzinger Delivers 'Pure Dancing Joy'

Once again, "Dancing With the Stars" front-runner Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough took the lead on Monday night. The Pussycat Doll grabbed the highest marks for her foxtrot. The night was a double dance night — meaning the pairs took the stage twice and received two scores. As usual, the judges raved about Scherzinger's performance, with judge Bruno Tonioli calling it "one-and-a-half minutes of pure dancing joy." Their second dance (lead judge Len Goodman said "there is nothing I can say to criticize" the dance), claimed a perfect 30 out of 30 (her first perfect score of the season) for their second routine, a '50s-style paso doble. Score: 59/60 The first couple to perform in the ballroom round were Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke, whose tango disappointed the judges. Goodman said he thought the football player needed more refinement. Tonioli commented that he thought the pair attempted emotional commitment but missed the slickness. For their second dance, they performed a '60s-era super-charged jive. The judges liked this routine a bit better, saying that it was high energy and entertaining. Carrie Ann Inaba told Ochocinco that this was one of his better dances. Score: 45/60 Niecy Nash and her partner, Louis Van Amstel, were the low scorers of the night. Their Viennese waltz failed to resonate with judges, who said there were too many odd transitions. Still, Goodman said he was pleasantly surprised and thought the dance had a "lovely floaty" quality about it. Their next dance was a '90s-themed paso doble. Tonioli said that Nash was a "scary mama" and liked that she threw herself into it, but he wasn't sure if it would end in disaster at various points in the routine. Score: 43/60 Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Argentine tango, a routine that earned her one of the night's highest scores. The judges loved her "so hot" routine, and Inaba said it was "fantastic." Goodman raved and joked that Andrews is a "dirty, dirty girl." Their next dance was an '80s rumba, which drew less than impressive reviews from the judges. Inaba said that the ESPN reporter doubts herself too much, and Goodman agreed, calling the entire dance "jerky." Score: 53/60 Olympian Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya performed the waltz, and Lysacek joked in rehearsals that "the waltz has no hip action. I love it!" The judges appeared to be mixed on the routine: Goodman said even though he thought Lysacek's footwork was great, he wasn't sure whether he liked it overall. For their second dance, they performed a futuristic cha cha, and Lysacek joked that his hips "will be better in the future." The judges loved their characters, with Tonioli calling the pair "Mr. Spock Meets Barbarella: The Next Generation In 3-D." Nicole Scherzinger and dance partner Derek Hough may have the kind of chemistry on the dance floor that gains them a large fanbase and high scores on "Dancing With the Stars," but the Pussycat Doll insisted it's strictly business.

When MTV News caught up with Scherzinger at rehearsals for the show, she cleared the air about the romance rumors. "I don't even know where they get these stories sometimes," she said, a sentiment similar to one she tweeted about — even alluding to her actual romance. "Been reading the net & seeing the craziest stories ... Derek is like a little brother 2 me," she wrote. "Everyone knows how in luv & committed I am 2 [boyfriend, race car driver] Lewis [Hamilton]!" In fact, in regards to their latest routine, she compared their chemistry to "two old jolly sailors chumming around." So do these "chums" get up to any shenanigans in their downtime? "We don't have too much downtime from rehearsals, to be honest with you," she said. "Right now, it's crunch time. It's kind of a stressful period." With Hough out of the picture, is there anyone else on the show she has a crush on? "I have a softness in my heart for Buzz [Aldrin]. I kind of have a crush on him," she shared. "I haven't [told him], but I just show it to him when I hug. He's just the sweetest guy and his wife is the cutest thing ever, people. Nicole Scherzinger Brings 'Slapstick' To 'Dancing With The Stars'

Last week Nicole Scherzinger scored the highest of all the celebrity dancers on "Dancing With the Stars," receiving a near-perfect total of 28. When the fans voiced their opinion, it was Shannen Doherty who was voted off the show, leaving Scherzinger to dance another week. So what should fans expect to see when they tune in this week?

"We had the quick step. We decided to take a risk and do something that we wanted to do on our own," Scherzinger told MTV News recently about her partner's strategy. "We're not really playing by the rules necessarily." Scherzinger and dance partner Derek Hough plan to try out some more unconventional dance moves with a routine that will be anything but strictly ballroom. "We're taking it old school. We're going back to the basics of, like, sheer entertainment and being performers, kind of like slapstick comedy," she shared. "And [we're] just having a good time. I don't know if the judges are gonna necessarily like it so much. We'll see." The Pussycat Doll is used to all the hard work thanks to her strenuous pop-star schedule, but her "DWTS" routines are definitely the hardest thing she's had to do in a long while. "I didn't anticipate, honestly, that it was going to be so challenging," she said. "I'm used to hard work, being on tour with the Pussycat Dolls and going non-stop, but this style of dance is so foreign to my body. It's quite frustrating at times." In honor of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" music video premiere on Thursday, MTV News got celebrities to weigh in on what they would ask Gaga about on a phone call, if they could ask about anything in the world. So, this week we will be rolling out their burning questions for the pop princess. And stay tuned to MTV News for more on the "Telephone" video.

If anybody has access to call Lady Gaga up and chat for a bit, it's Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who toured with Gaga in 2009. And if Scherzinger can get her on the phone, she's got a few specific things she'd like to ask. "If I could call Lady Gaga on the phone and ask her for anything ... I would ask her if she could design my next costume for my next music video. No, I would ask her to do a song with me," she joked. "Because she is flipping brilliant." After getting the career-related stuff out of the way, she's got a question about a little something she gave Gaga awhile back. "I'd ask her, you know what I would say? I'd say, 'Gaga, you still have those really pretty Vivienne Westwood earrings that I bought you when we were on tour?' And if she says, 'Yeah,' I'll say, 'OK, cool, you remember those earrings, right? Yeah, when are we going to do a song together?' " she joked. And while Scherzinger is currently in reinvention mode with the Pussycat Dolls, she told us she admires Gaga's ability to constantly reinvent her own look. "Already within the year, two years she'd been on the scene, she's just always inspiring us with music," she said. "She's reinvented herself eight times this past week!" With the search on to fill out the Pussycat Dolls lineup after several members left the group to pursue other interests, the only surviving Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, admits that changes within the group are "inevitable." But Scherzinger insisted that all the girls who left are like family to her, and she only wants them to find success and happiness in their new careers.

"You know what? I've always looked at the Pussycat Dolls as a family," she told MTV News. "We were really a sisterhood. We were together for six years, nonstop, 24/7. And I know a lot of them are pursuing their own solo projects and future endeavors, and I wish them nothing but the best." While she's still fully committed to the girl group, she knows that people sometimes need to move on to find their own happiness. "I believe they are beautiful and talented girls. And I believe in them, and I just want them to be happy," she said. "Success means different things to different people, so whatever brings them happiness, I wish them that." Still, she knows that in the world of girl groups, breakups and shakeups are the norm. "It's kind of inevitable, right? When it comes to girl groups, I think we did the best that we could for a good chunk of time," she explained. "We had an amazing time, and then people change and people grow, and sometimes things aren't right for them. We're all artists — just go and be creative. I love the PCD. It's been a blessing for me. I don't take it for granted, so I can't wait to do more music." Aside from PCD, Scherzinger will also be strutting her stuff on the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars."
